You will need to bring your health insurance card to your appointment. This can either be the physical card or digitally through your phone application.

Yes, you can claim contact lenses. Our optometrists will perform a thorough contact lens consultation to find the best suited lens for your needs. Please speak to one of our friendly staff members to find out more about contact lenses.

Health insurance can be used with prescription sunglasses only and includes either tinted or polarised options.

At iOptical, you can claim your health fund at any time of the year. Depending on your provider, your rollover can happen at the end of the year or even mid-year. But do remember that most health funds don’t roll over any unused benefits when your insurance renews. Ask your health fund for more information on when your benefits renew.

Eye Test Overdue?

We recommend you should have an eye test with an optometrist at least once every two years. With state-of-the-art equipment for a thorough eye examination, our optometrists are able to provide the highest quality eye care to all patients.
